“Bloemenmarkt? Mm.” Jan got out of his own daydreamy state of comfort to accommodate Antonio to the flower market. To the Dutchman these were everyday sights for him, but with Antonio-they were re-animated-reborn.

“Shouldn’t be far.”

With the clanging of bells in the background, they arrived to see the gorgeous blooms and inhale that perfect aroma. The blond’s fingers itched to hold Antonio’s hand and he had to wonder what had gotten into him. Naturally the answer was simply-it was the aura of the older man, influencing him even still today, no matter how much he wanted to fight it. Sometimes Jan had to chide himself on his ridiculous stiff nature, with his façade that kept him looking strong all these many, many years. As he saw it, that presentation is what kept him existing for so long. However with Antonio, the Dutchman wanted those liberties he denied himself for so long. As they stood there looking at row after gorgeous row of flowers laid out for them on the ground, with the wind chimes gently swaying nearby, his hand bumped the other’s man’s. Taking a small breath, and seeing no one around, he shyly bumped it again, gently grasping it.

He forgot all about asking Antonio if he wanted some flower bulbs to take home
